Tonight sees the London premiere of Craig Baxter’s play Lady Anna: All at Sea at the Park Theatre, Finsbury Park, London. Commissioned by The Trollope Society to mark the bicentenary of Trollope’s birth, this play “considers how power and prejudice act as a crucible of corruption; [and] how an intolerant society too easily becomes a very dangerous thing.”
Tomorrow is Press Night so I shall be going along. I will share my thoughts on the adaptation in a future post.
